Message from the President of the Uganda Cultural Association of Alberta (UCAA)
It is with immense gratitude and humility that I serve as President of the Uganda Cultural Association of Alberta (UCAA). My work with UCAA is not just a role, it is my life’s passion. Through the work I have the honor, privilege, and joy of doing every day, I strive to embody a creed of service and live out the truth of unity and community.
As a community-based organization, UCAA is a home; a family of dedicated stewards and leaders who tirelessly work to unite individuals and families, celebrate our cultural heritage, and strategically support the diverse needs of our community.
Through the invaluable support of our sponsors, vendors, volunteers, local funding, and social enterprise ventures, UCAA is proud to offer a variety of impactful programs and services. These include our vibrant yearly festivals, cultural events, and initiatives to assist newcomers and families in Edmonton, helping them navigate their transition with resources and support.
We are now in the final planning stages of this year’s exciting events and programs. The success of these initiatives will undoubtedly depend on the dedication and generosity of our members, sponsors, and community partners, whose contributions both financial and otherwise help bring our vision to life.
